Trainer / Coach

Jeff Tan is the founder and Chief Coach of REV.  His passion is in helping people lead excellent and fulfilling lives using the tools of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or NLP. Prior to starting Explorer3 Life, Jeff served 26 years with distinction as a helicopter pilot and flight instructor with the Singapore Air Force, rising to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.

Jeff is a licensed NLP trainer, having received his certification from Dr Richard Bandler, the founder of NLP.  In addition, he holds a Master of Social Science degree in Counselling from the University of South Australia, and is a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist with the Institute for Advanced Neuro-Research and Education in the USA, as well as being a certified PhotoReading Whole Mind System instructor. 

As a Life Coach and Motivational speaker, Jeff specializes in the areas of peak performance, communications & sales skills, and accelerated learning techniques for children and adults. He works with individuals and corporations and has successfully coached youths and adults on a personal level, and executives and leaders from the public sector to the private sector.  He has worked with numerous educational institutions, government bodies, and business organizations in Singapore, Malaysia and China, e.g., Hutchison Port China, Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Health Promotion Board, Chinese High School, Hwa Chong Institution, Institute of Technical Education, ICS Building Technologies, Aviation Training Academy Singapore, Nuskin Enterprises, BizShanghai Magazine and Standard Chartered Bank Shanghai.

Jeff’s passions outside of his work include wushu, downhill skiing, writing, and competitive public speaking where he has won several contests in Singapore, and is a sought after guest speaker and evaluator.
